Shruti Hassan has been roped for Net Prabhu Deva's Project

Actress Shruti Hassan has been roped in to play the lead role for Prabhu Deva’s next. “I have never worked with him before. So, for me it is going to be lovely to finally get to work with him,” Shruti said in a statement here. Making his directorial debut in Bollywood with Salman Khan-starrer

Wanted, Prabhu Deva’s second film with Akshay Kumar, Rowdy Rathore was released recently. Both the films did well at the box office. His third venture will be a musical love story, produced by Kumar Taurani of Tips. Taurani’s son, Girish will be making his debut as an actor in the yet-to-be named film. Even though she has not yet worked with Prabhu, she said, “Prabhu Deva is very clear, efficient and good with his work. It just helps you keep your focus on your performance and not worry about other things. He makes the entire process so much easier,” she said.
The film’s shooting is likely to begin from August.
